SIMPLE STEPS TO SETUP NETGEAR WI-FI EXTENDER VIA MANUAL METHOD

Setting up a Netgear Wi-Fi extender via manual method is straightforward and can be done in a few simple steps:

Plug in your Netgear Wi-Fi extender into an electrical outlet near your wireless router.
Using a wireless device such as a laptop or a smartphone, connect to the Wi-Fi network broadcasted by the Netgear Wi-Fi extender. The default name of the network will be "NETGEAR_EXT".
Once connected, open a web browser on your device and type "www.mywifiext.net" in the address bar. Press Enter. If the web page does not load, try entering "192.168.1.250" in the address bar instead.
On the Mywifiext.net login page, enter the username and password for your Netgear Wi-Fi extender. The default username is "admin" and the default password is "password". Click on the "Login" button to proceed.
On the Netgear extender setup page, select the wireless network you want to extend and click on the "Continue" button.
If your wireless network is password-protected, enter the network password when prompted and click on the "Continue" button.
Once the network is selected and the password is entered, the Netgear extender setup page will prompt you to configure your extender. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
Once the setup process is complete, place your Netgear Wi-Fi extender in a central location between your wireless router and the area where you want to extend the Wi-Fi coverage.
